Here’s How To Take One Simple “Hook” and Turn It Into 30 Pieces of Content

If you’re marketing your business on social media, you need content.

That’s why you’ll love this simple process because I’m going to show you how to take one “hook” and almost instantly turn it into 30 pieces of content.  

You ready?

Step 1:  Find a Juicy Hook

The best way to do this is by paying attention to the headlines or hooks that grab your attention.  This could be when you’re online looking at news sites, it could be titles of podcasts or YouTube videos, or it could be when you’re scrolling through your social feeds.

What did that content creator say in the first 3-5 seconds that grabbed your attention?

Whatever it was, make note of it.  Finding powerful hooks are crucial in helping your content get more visibility.

Here are a few examples that I recently found:

1. Have you ever ___ and immediately ___?
2. I'm a ___ and today I'm going to ____.
3. And whenever you ____, just remember ____.

Step 2:  Go to ChatGPT

Once you have a hook to work with, the next step is to go to ChatGPT and enter a few key prompts.  

First you’ll want to tell ChatGPT what you’re about to do and who your market is.  You want ChatGPT clear on who you are creating content for.  So here’s an example:

I'd like you to be a world-class social media manager. Our goal is to come up with 30 social media posts using a template. I'll provide the template and then you'll provide 30 different options. Our target market are entrepreneurs and small business owners... and they specifically run online and digital businesses. Does this make sense so far?

There are a few keys to this prompt:

• I asked ChatGPT to be a world-class social media manager.  
• I was specific about how many social media post ideas I want it to create
• I explained that I’ll be providing a template
• I shared who specifically I was targeting 
• I asked if everything was clear so far

Once you enter this, ChatGPT will likely come back with a response that it’s clear and ready to go.  That’s when you enter the second prompt:

Ok great. 

Here is the template: Have you ever ___ and immediately ___?

Can you please provide 30 examples following this template?

—

After you enter this second prompt, ChatGPT will go to work creating 30 social media post ideas based around the hook template you just provided.

Amazing right?

Now here’s where it gets even more fun…

Let’s say you have a bunch of hooks.  You can quickly rinse and repeat this process by entering this prompt:

Thanks!  Can you please repeat this process using this template:

I'm a ___ and today I'm going to ____.

—

As soon as you do that, voila!  You’ll have another 30 ideas you can run with.  I recently researched 10 different hooks, ran them through this process and then had hundreds of social media post ideas in just a few minutes.  And you can do the same!

Of course not all the ChatGPT ideas will be good.  But if you follow this process with just a few hooks, you’ll have PLENTY of ideas for the next month.  So go find a couple juicy hooks and give this a try!
