What is included in the $10,000 fee?

The fee covers a 2-day in-person workshop with group coaching from Stu McLaren and the Membership.io team, along with one year of access to the Membership.io Grow Plan ($1,190 USD value).

Is the price in USD?

Yes. The price for the in-person 2-Day Founding Member Launch Accelerator is in US dollars.

Does the fee include travel (flights, train, etc.)?

No, travel expenses are not included.

Does the fee include accommodations?

No, accommodations are not covered.

Does the fee include food and beverages?

Yes, light breakfast and a full lunch will be provided during the event.

Does the fee include a Membership.io subscription?

Yes, you will receive one year of access to the Membership.io Grow Plan ($1,190 USD value).

Will you take photos of me during the event?

Yes, but only with your permission.

Will you create a logo for my membership?

No, logo creation is not part of the event.

When is the in-person event?

The event will take place on November 13 to 14, 2024. We are also hosting a welcome dinner on November 12.

Where is the event located?

The event will take place at C Hotel in Hamilton, Ontario (approximately 30 minutes away from Toronto), and part of the event will be held at Membership.io headquarters (approximately one hour away from Toronto) in Brantford, Ontario.

What do I need to bring to the event?

This could include bringing your laptop, any membership ideas, or materials you’re currently working on.

Is there a refund policy?

Refunds are available until November 1, 2024 at 5pm ET, with a full refund minus the processing fee. After November 1, 2024 at 5pm ET, no refunds will be provided, including for anyone who registers and completes payment after this date.

What if I can't attend the event in-person?

In-person participation is required in order to make the most of this event. If you are unable to join us in-person, we recommend that you do not apply for this event.

Will there be a replay / recording after the event?

It’s highly recommended that you attend live as all sessions and breakouts will not be available as a replay. Only some sessions will be available after the event.

How many people will be attending?

The event is limited to 12 participants to ensure personalized attention and a focused experience.

Is there ongoing support after the event?

No, there will not be ongoing support specifically tied to the event. However, you will have access to support from the Membership.io customer success team for any questions related to the platform.

Can anyone join?

There is an application process. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, pending you successfully complete the application process and meet the requirements.

What type of coaching will I receive?

You’ll receive group coaching from Stu McLaren and the Membership.io team, focusing on your membership idea, launch strategy, and overcoming specific challenges. You will also get support in building out your membership on Membership.io.

Will I get technical / software support for other platforms?

No. The technical training is only applicable to Membership.io.

Will I have the opportunity to network with other attendees?

Yes, there will be opportunities to connect and collaborate with fellow participants during breakout sessions and group activities.

What level of experience is required?

This event is designed for people with an established business and/or audience; however, do not have a source of recurring revenue (such as a membership).

What is Village Impact?

Village Impact is a charitable organization co-founded by Stu and Amy McLaren. Its mission is to provide access to quality education in underserved communities in Kenya by building schools and offering holistic support for students.

How will the funds support this charity?

All proceeds from this event will go directly to Village Impact, helping to build schools, provide educational resources, and create sustainable opportunities for students in rural Kenya.
