Refund Policy

Overview

Membership.io is a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. By subscribing, you gain access to our tools and features on an ongoing basis. As with many subscription services, lack of use does not entitle you to a refund. We offer flexible, budget-friendly plans that can be upgraded, downgraded (subject to usage limits), or canceled at any time. Because we provide service continuously, all sales are final and non-refundable, except in limited circumstances as described below.


Plan Changes & Credits

Upgrading Your Plan

You can upgrade at any time. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period.

Downgrading Your Plan

If your current usage exceeds the parameters of the lower plan, you cannot downgrade without adjusting your usage or contacting our Support Team to discuss possible options.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

No Refund for Lack of Use: We do not issue refunds or credits if you do not utilize your account or platform features during your subscription term.

Cancellation Policy

While cancellation is always possible, refunds are not granted upon cancellation. Your account will remain active for the remainder of the current billing cycle. 

Extenuating Circumstances & Review Process

We understand that exceptional situations may arise. If you believe you have a valid reason for a refund within the last 30 days, please follow the steps below:

Submit a Request

Email us at help@membership.io. Include as much detail as possible about your situation and any relevant documentation.

Review Period

Our team will carefully review your account activity and billing details from the past 30 days to determine whether your circumstances warrant a refund.

Decision & Notification

You will receive an update via the email address used for your request. If your refund request is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Note: All approved refunds are subject to a 5% USD Transaction Fee to cover processing costs.

Refund Processing Times

If a refund is approved, it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear in your account. Actual timelines depend on your bank or payment provider.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time, and changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
